Meter Reading and Billing

  1. We request customers to allow the company staff access to all water meters at all times for the purposes of meter reading and maintenance
  2. All installed and active meters will be read from 18th to 22nd of each month.
  3. Water bills will be generated/produced timely the billing cycle which runs from 24 th day of the current month to the 23rd day of the following month. Where meters are not read, bills will be generated by a system average.
  4. Bills shall be sent by short message service (sms) or posted or delivered to customers within two (2) days after production.
  5. We will work with the customer to correct any discrepancy or problem with reading or billing.
  6. Customers may lodge any complaints regarding errors on their bills to the NOLWASCO offices within three months, after which the complaint shall not be valid.
  7. Complaints on erroneous bills shall be acted upon within 24 hours. However, in special instances, this period may vary depending on the nature of investigations required, in which case, the customer will be regularly updated on the progress made.
